This was our first Texas camping trip. It was awesome! The weather was great, there were hardly any people around, and we had a great time. We decided February is a great time to camp in Texas. The kids wanted cousins to come, any takers?
I have never seen an Armadillo alive before! He was really cool to watch!

Coy, Kickn' back at the campground with a book.

True to Forsgren fashion, Caleb broke his hand as we headed out on our first hike. (running, trip, fall) He is such a tough kid. He hardly cried, never complained, and still played his heart out. We took him to urgent care after we got home, just to make sure, and sure enough, it was broken!

We loved canoeing
on Lake Sommerville. It was beautiful, the fish were feeding, and no one was there. The weather was fantastic! It couldn't have been more perfect!

You have to get good and dirty when you are camping and Coy, Caleb and Nanna made sure they did their part.
